CATALOGING LEXIS FOR CONTRASTIVE PURPOSES <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>. The article argues that in contrastive studies cataloging of the vocabulary is feasible applying semantic criteria. Parameters are listed for comparison of both subject and predicative vocabulary. The results of the analysis could be adopted in comparative typology of languages, lexical semantics, lexicography, theory of translation and data bank generating.<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>. This article gives an overview on the new versions of the orthographic standards in Bulgarian, Russian, German and French. It makes a historic review of the reforms in the particular languages since the middle of the 20th century up to now. The main changes in the spelling rules have been thoroughly analyzed. Based on that analysis it has been drawn a conclusion about general tendencies in the development of European languages.<\/p>\n

THE FALLEN ANGELS <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>. \u201cSuccess and Morality: (in)fallibility, impunity, sins and punishment\u201d presents an Almalech\u2019s analysis on Bible highest personages that are capable to correct their moral transgressions, especially when they are in power, because sins of the powerful are paid by all. (1 Chronicles, 21; 2 Samuel, 24). Modern and ancient criteria of success are very different. Moses and King David are men of mower. They were successful individuals, whether they perceive as mythological characters, or characters of prototypes ever lived. In ancient times and today, success and morality are differnt things and actually clash between the two produces many fables and stories. Life of David and Moses offers examples of faults, but also how they reckon with them. In 1 Chronicles 21 David is dealing with Satan who stood up against Israel, and incited David to wage census in Israel. David proceeded in violation manner over one of the commandments. As a punishment of David\u2019s deeds God sent a plague upon Israel and an angel to destroy Jerusalem. David took responsibility and propitiates God, but pays a very high price. Very indicative of the main characters in the Bible is that they are very capable people but also with failures. However, they have the ability to make genuine and timely assessment and self-assessment. This attitude is valid on the relation \u2018power \u2013 morality\u2019.<\/p>\n

It gives information about the formation of the idea about the public library in a Roman context, about the foundation, location and development of some of the more well known Roman public libraries, about the organization of the storage and usage of the library stock. THE DIDACTIC POTENTIAL OF THE ETHNOCULTURAL TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract<\/strong>. The paper describes the ethnocultural technology as one of the modern pedagogical technologies in teaching foreign languages. The study includes its theoretical basics, various aspects and ways of its realisation in teaching Russian as a foreign language. The didactic potential of the ethnocultural technology is implemented in the incentives provided and the combination of the cultural traditions of the ethnic group and the formation of tolerant individuals who see the cultural diversity as a social norm and an intrapersonal moral value.<\/p>\n
