Abstract. The main purpose of this article is to show the need for further training of teachers in general schools. The main topic is how to work with children with special educational needs (SEN). Discussed are studies and analyses of the legal framework for teacher education in schools on the subject of inclusive education. The main tasks put forward are the presentation of the results of a study, which examines the need to train teachers how to work with children with SEN. Shown are the findings of the study and recommendations for practical application.
