Abstract. The article presents examples of the integration of music into the learning process of native and foreign language learning. The positive effects regarding easier and long-term memorization of the studied educational material by students with typical development and those with special educational needs are commented on. Linking the text of a poem with the accompanying musical accompaniment in the form of a song helps to remember vocabulary and correct syntactic constructions of the target language – when learning Bulgarian in a foreign language environment and in learning a foreign language in Bulgaria.
