Abstract. Today, when we observe an ubiquitous crisis in learners` motivation
to learn, and when students are not satisfied with the information they receive from
the teachers, the school is looking for modern paths for ever more dynamic young
people. More than ever, training needs pragmatic approaches to developing skills
and competencies, enhancing cognitive interest in developing of creative pursuit
and deepening knowledge in the natural science.
We offer the use of project-based training with the inclusion of students in experimental work as a pedagogical practice that activates cognitive activity and helps to promote and deepen the interest in the field of chemistry and natural sciences.
